Learn to present information, share with colleagues, collaboratively edit, and use other time-saving tools. (If you do not have a current google account, we will create one in the first class.) Bring a laptop or we will have computers available. The beauty of Google is that you can access it!

Part 1: Focus on Google Mail Learn to organize, save, create, archive, and attach items to email.

Students taking advanced math will work on basic arithmetic, elementary algebra and some geometry to prepare for increasing their scores on the accuplacer or for taking HiSET math.

Prerequisite: Accuplacer math exam

AKC Canine Good Citizen Class

$20

For dogs with basic obedience skills already. We build on the basic skills and introduce new distractions to proof the dogs behavior. This class is a good starting point for future therapy dogs and on week 6 the AKC CGC test will be conducted, dogs passing the test will receive a title. Dogs must be 6 months of age or older. Copy of vaccinations, a 4-6 ft thin leash, and soft treats.

Fee: $20

Lab fee: $120 paid to the teacher at the first class

American Heart Association CPR

This course covers adult, child and infant CPR. Use of an AED. Adult, child and infant choking. How and when to call emergency services. A certification from the American Heart Association will be presented at course completion. Workbooks are not included with this class but can be purchased in advance for $10. This workbook covers CPR and First Aid. Please indicate on registration form if you want to purchase. This class is offered on three separate dates.

Next Class begins Spring 2019!

140 Classroom Hours w/ a Clinical Externship For students who want to prepare for an exciting, challenging and rewarding career in healthcare. This program trains students to assist physicians by performing functions related to the clinical responsibilities of a medical office. Instruction includes preparing patients for examination and treatment, routine laboratory procedures, diagnostic testing, technical aspects of phlebotomy and the cardiac life cycle. Includes hands on labs and a clinical extern- ship opportunity at a local healthcare provider. To be eligible for clinical rotation, students must successfully complete the 140 hour program, submit to a thorough background check, drug screening and meet other requirements. Note: Upon successful completion of this program, students are eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) national examination. Course Contact Hours: 140 hours + Clinical Externship Student Tuition: $2,599 (Textbooks included - Board exam is an additional fee) Clinical Externship Hours: 160 hours
